INSTALLATION at WHAT IT IS, CHICAGO, IL
I've been invited to create a site-specific installation by curators Jessica Cochran and Mia Ruyter as part of an exhibition titled "Nomadic Text," at What It Is, a gallery in Oak Park, IL. The exhibition will open on Sunday Sept. 18th 3pm – 8pm and continue through Saturday Oct. 22nd.
THE STARTER PROJECT PERFORMANCE at ROOT DIVISION, SAN FRANCISCO, CA
I will be performing The Starter Project at Root Division, on Saturday, April 9, from 7-10 during the opening for the new exhibition "Taste." I will include ephemera in the exhibition which runs until April 23 and present an encore performance of The Starter Project on April 14th, during the annual Taste fundraiser. I plan to serve bread leavened from wild yeast cultures from Austin, Texas, Inverness, California and Germantown, NY in the Hudson River Valley.

I'm pleased to report that my work was accepted into The Drawing Center's curated Artist Registry.
THE PRINT CENTER'S 83RD ANNUAL COMPETITION
One of my prints was selected by Shelly Bancroft and Peter Nesbett, the publishers of Art on Paper magazine, for inclusion in the Print Center's 83rd Annual International Competition. The exhibition will run from May 30 – August 1, 2009 at The Print Center in Philadelphia.

On April 30th 2008, I presented The Species to the Genus at a Communal Dinner as part of a Visual and Critical Studies Symposium at the Jane Addams Hull House Museum.
